At Mountain Lake Plastic Surgery, our friendly staff welcomes patients in a private office that reflects Dr. MacLennan’s comforting and friendly personality. Our office has easy access off of the interstate, and convenient parking right outside the front door, so you won’t have to worry with busy parking structures.
Our small, private facilities are nothing like the larger hospitals you may be accustomed to. Dr. MacLennan has chosen to work only in these small, intimate settings so that she can offer the most personal care possible.

Our Staff
Alexa, Patient Coordinator
Alexa brings a degree in Healthcare Administration and has been an integral part of the practice since its opening in 2018. As Patient Care Coordinator, she helps guide patients through every step of their surgical journey, from scheduling surgery to providing ongoing support. Alexa ensures that each patient feels comfortable, informed, and cared for throughout their experience. In her free time, Alexa enjoys the ocean, weekend road trips, and summer days on the lake.
Killian, Registered Nurse
Assists in many aspects of patient care including pre-operative and post-operative care, assisting in the procedure room and providing education. When Killian is not at MLPS she enjoys spending time with her family, being outdoors and making charcuterie boards.
Amel, Nurse Practitioner
Amel earned her Doctorate of Nursing Practice (DNP) from the University of Vermont in 2023. She brings a diverse background in surgical oncology, dermatology, and neurology. She graduated with her Bachelor of Science in Health Science Studies, Anthropology, and Global Public Health from Quinnipiac University in 2017.
She works closely with patients during surgical consultations, pre-operative visits, and post-operative care. Amel also assists Dr. MacLennan with in-office procedures and provides neurotoxin injectables, where she is currently welcoming new patients.
Outside of work, Amel enjoys reading, CrossFit, and spending time with her family.
Jennifer, Front Desk
Jennifer is the friendly face at the front desk and the welcoming voice you’ll hear on the phone. She has worked in the medical field for several years and has been involved in all aspects of the Theater Arts in New York City and locally.
Jacqueline, Aesthetician
Jacqueline grew up in Portland Maine and came to Vermont to attend O’Brien’s Aveda Institute. She has over 20 years of experience in providing aesthetic treatments. She has previously worked with Dr. Robert Gordon, Mirror Mirror and Four Seasons Dermatology.
In her free time, Jackie enjoys barre class (where she often works out next to Dr.MacLennan!), cooking, and spending time with her 3 grown children.
